In The Treehouse, kids will learn that they can follow God right now using the story of Simon and Andrew's calling in Mark 1:16-18.
In Kids Connection, kids will answer the question "How can I experience God?" using the story of Jacob's blessing in Genesis 32:4-32.
In Oneanother, the students will study the story of Cain and Abel found in Genesis 4.
As always, each child will receive a take-home handout to help you follow up on these teachings at home during the week. Please take the time to do these activities with your child as they will help the truths they are learning here at Cypress sink deep into their everyday lives.

ReplyDeleteAnother piece of information that might be helpful is a note of what the "remember verse" is for each age group for this week (or series). That way we can be working with our kids on them at home as well.
