This Sunday's (2/28) Lesson Previews

Here's what your kids will be learning in Next Gen this coming Sunday:


In The Treehouse, kids will learn that God made the sun, moon and stars using the story of day 4 of creation found in Genesis 1:14-19.




In KC jr., kids will learn that they can HELP BIG using the story of the Good Samaritan found in Luke 10:30-37.




In Kids Connection, kids will learn that they can impact their friends using the story of Jesus leading the fishermen in Matthew 4:18-22.





The students in ONEANOTHER will be studying the story of Joseph being sold into slavery found in Genesis chapter 37.



As always, each child will receive a take-home handout to help you follow up on these teachings at home during the week. Please take the time to do these activities with your child as they will help the truths they are learning here at Cypress sink deep into their everyday lives.

Sunday Follow-up

Hello again Parents! Just passing along the usual items to help you follow up with your kids at home this week concerning what they learned this past Sunday. Below you will find listed the "Remember Verse" (Treehouse & KC jr.) and "Memory Max" (Kids Connection) Bible verses we learned so you can review them with your kids throughout the week. Also, if your kids forgot or lost their take-home "Map books" you can download a new copy by clicking on the corresponding picture below:




"God looked at everything He had made, and it was very good." (Gen. 1:31)

"I can do all things through Christ, because he gives me strength!" (Phil. 4:13)

"Give your gifts in secret, and your Father, who knows all sccrets, will reward you." (Matt. 6:4)

If you are a volunteer in a Next Gen Ministry, you are invited to attend one of two identical meetings - Wednesday, March 3rd @ 6:30pm or Saturday, March 6th @ 9:30am - for a sneak peek at "Orange". Everyone else will have to wait until one of the morning services (9:15 & 11am) on Sunday, March 7th. Don't miss out on what all the excitement is about!

In Kids Connection, kids will learn that they can impact their church using the story of the widow's offering in Mark 12:41-44.





The students in ONEANOTHER will be studying the story of Jacob and Esau in Genesis chapters 25-33.

In KC jr., kids will learn that they can LOVE BIG using the story of the Prodigal Son found in Luke 15:11-24.




In Kids Connection, kids will learn that they can impact their family using the story of Jesus healing ten lepers in Luke 17:11-19.





The students in ONEANOTHER will be studying the story of Abraham and Isaac in Genesis chapters 21-22.



As always, each child will receive a take-home handout to help you follow up on these teachings at home during the week. Please take the time to do these activities with your child as they will help the truths they are learning here at Cypress sink deep into their everyday lives.

Oneanother Bonfire & Movie Night

Hey Families!

If you have a student in 5th, 6th, or 7th grade they are invited to attend the Oneanother Bonfire & Movie night at Cypress this Friday, February 12th, from 6-10 pm. Rain or shine we will be having a wonderful time.

Snacks and drinks will be provided but your preteen might want dinner before they come!

If its nice weather we will have our bonfire in a fire pit out front and head inside for the movie around 7:30.

If its not so nice weather we will spend 6-7:30 playing all the weird and crazy games they love from Oneanother!
